The 2024 Bollywood calendar is brimming with a diverse array of movies that promise to keep audiences riveted. From gripping dramas to dazzling musical extravaganzas, there is something for every movie-goer. Whether it is a glitzy Karan Johar film starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh or a thrilling action flick helmed by Atlee, the year will give movie buffs some of their biggest highs.

The new year begins with a bang with Sidharth Anand’s highly-anticipated blockbuster Fighter, which brings Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone together on screen for the first time. The film is scheduled to release on January 25, 2024.

Also releasing in the same month is Ekta Kapoor’s LSD2 starring Guru Randhawa, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal. This sequel to the 2010 film of the same name is expected to do well at the box office.

In February, Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay will see Akshay Kumar collaborating with director Ali Abbas Zafar for the first time. The duo has promised to deliver a blockbuster that is sure to entertain. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie Soorrai Pottru and stars Radhika Madan and Paresh rawal in key roles.

Another upcoming Bollywood film that will see the collaboration of two big names is the Ajay Devgn and Tabu project Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film will narrate the story of two decades, which will span from 2002 to 2023. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie is slated to release on March 16, 2024.

A month later, Kartik Aaryan will be seen donning the army uniform in Yodha. The film is a sports-centric movie that will showcase the journey of a sportsman. It is slated to hit the silver screens on March 22, 2024.

The first month of 2024 will close with Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas, helmed by Sriram Raghavan. The movie will be based on a unique story that will appeal to audience of all age groups.

The last month of the current year will be packed with some heavyweight releases like Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Besides these, Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra’s Amar Singh Chamkila will bring to life the untold story of Punjab’s original rockstar.

For those who love to watch multi-starrer films, ‘Metro… In Dino’ is the one for them. Anurag Basu’s anthology will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Neha Dhupia, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh among others. The movie will be released on March 29.
